Stethoscope imageA post-abortion medical check-up is recommended two-three weeks after an abortion. This is to make sure that you have recovered both physically and emotionally after the procedure and are not worried about anything.

At the IFPA, we have lots of experience in post-abortion care. For over fifteen years we have operated a national network of free and specialised post-abortion medical check-ups. Our experienced medical staff treat all our clients in a supportive and non-judgmental way.

A free post-abortion check-up can be booked through our medical clinics in Dublin. The service is also available in many other locations nationwide, call our National Pregnancy Helpline 1850 49 50 51 for more information. A post-abortion check-up is available regardless of whether you have attended our services in the past.

We also provide free post-abortion counselling in our eleven counselling locations nationwide.
