With thanks to funding from the Crisis Pregnancy Agency, the IFPA can now offer free post-abortion medical check-ups to our clients.
Two to three weeks following a termination, women are strongly advised to have a medical check-up.
This is to make sure she has recovered completely and is not worried about anything.
The check-up can also provide her with the opportunity to discuss future contraception should she wish to prevent future pregnancies.
