RSE Workshop

The IFPA’s Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) Workshop is a three-hour comprehensive sexual health session which can be delivered as part of the RSE curriculum in Irish secondary schools. It’s delivered to a maximum of 22 students at a time. It’s possible to organise two sessions in one school day.

RSE Workshop Content

This programme is delivered by the IFPA’s experienced education officer. It uses activity, discussion and direct learning to address attitudes and beliefs around sexual health. The topics covered include:

  • Human reproduction
  • Consent
  • Healthy relationships
  • Self-esteem and negotiation
  • Contraception
  • Condom demonstration
  • Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV
  • Pornography: fantasy vs reality
