What Next... is a web-enabled infographic that highlights four key areas to think about after unprotected sex -STI testing, emergency contraception, unplanned pregnancy, and thinking ahead- and support services available. The tool was developed by the IFPA in partnership with HIV Ireland. More.



Compendium on Young People’s SRHR Policies in Europe

This snapshot of national policies on young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) across Europe highlights gaps in information, service provision and effective policies that act as barriers to young people’s SRHR. Read more here.



World AIDS Day

Red Ribbon

To celebrate World AIDS Day on December 1st, the Irish Family Planning Association (IFPA) facilitated a HIV/AIDS peer education programme to transition year students in Ireland  The IFPA also developed a HIV/AIDS information clip to inform young people on the importance of sexual health while also helping to reduce the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS in Ireland. Safer Sex Youth Competition

The IFPA invited secondary schools, Youthreach and youth groups to participate in a competition for young people aged 14 to 18 to create a message for their peers about safe sex. The IFPA’s Safer Sex youth competition aimed to develop and inform Ireland’s youth on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
