Vaginal Ring

Effectiveness: It is 99% effective if used correctly.

What is it?
Hormonal Contraception. It contains estrogen and progestogen. You insert it into your vagina, and it stays in place for three weeks. After this it is removed for a one week break, and then is replaced with a new vaginal ring.

Is it for you?
It only has to be thought about every four weeks. And it may also make periods more regular and lighter, and may reduce cramping.

It can cause vaginal irritation or discomfort, and some women reported being able to feel it.
