Crisis Pregancy
A crisis pregnancy is a pregnancy that can be either unplanned/unwanted by the woman, or is one that becomes a crisis due to a change of circumstances.
It is important to remember that if you are unsure about any aspect of your pregnancy you can get help from the IFPA. The counselors will help you by going through the three options of parenting, adoption and abortion.
How can we help?
If you are pregnant and it wasn’t planned you may be feeling shocked, scared and that there is no-one you can turn to. You may also feel that you can’t talk to your friends and family, and this will probably leave you feeling very isolated and lonely.
If you call the national pregnancy helpline on 1850 49 50 51, were we will be able to get you an appointment with a pregnancy counselor in your area.
The counselor will guide you through all your options of parenting, adoption and abortion, but she holds no view on what you should do, the decision is entirely yours.
The IFPA also provides free post-abortion counseling.
