Pregnancy
If you are worried that you might be pregnant it is important that you do a pregnancy test.
The most obvious sign that you could be pregnant is missing a period, however there could be other explanations for this.
You can either do a home pregnancy test that you can buy at a chemist or pharmacy, or you can go to your GP, or to a family planning clinic. Some women like to do the home pregnancy test and then have the result confirmed by a doctor.
If you are sure that you are pregnant it is really important that you speak to someone soon. The IFPA offers crisis pregnancy counseling free of charge. Your counsellor is there to support you and will not judge you or tell you what you should do. Your counsellor will help to guide you through all three options of parenting, abortion and adoption.
