What is it?
Hormonal Contraception. The combined pill contains two female hormones, estrogen and progestogen. You are given one pack for each 28 day cycle. Each pack contains 21 pills, one for each day, followed by a 7-day gap.
Is it for you?
There are a number of different types of combined pill available.
They can have the additional benefit of shortening periods and making them more regular. Also effective in reducing the severity of pelvic cramps. may have a positive effect on the condition of skin and hair.
Some women may experience mood swings, changes in sex drive, headaches, bloating or bleeding problems when taking the combined pill. These vary from woman to woman.
