The IFPA was founded by seven volunteers in 1969 and although we have grown considerably since then, voluntary effort remains central to the achievement of our aims.

Volunteer involvement is subject to support for the IFPA's Mission Statement and positive vetting.

The IFPA offers a comprehensive range of services specifically designed to promote sexual health and to support reproductive choice. Our services and facilities include counselling, information, education and the provision of medical services.
