To celebrate World AIDS Day on December 1st the Irish Family Planning Association (IFPA) is facilitating a HIV/AIDS peer education programme to transition year students in Ireland The IFPA also developed a HIV/AIDS information clip to inform young people on the importance of sexual health while also helping to reduce the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS in Ireland. Safer Sex Youth Competition |

The IFPA invited secondary schools, Youthreach and youth groups to participate in a competition for young people aged 14 to 18 to create a message for their peers about safe sex. The IFPA’s Safer Sex youth competition aimed to develop and inform Ireland’s youth on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Read more and view winning entries here. |
