Gonorrhoea is caused by bacteria. If left untreated it can cause serious health problems including infertility.
How do I get it?

Sexual contact with an infected partner, including vaginal, oral and anal sex and skin-to-skin contact
Symptoms

Most women and many men have no symptoms

There may be a vaginal discharge

May cause recurrent cystitis

Can cause irregular bleeding on the pill or unusual bleeding between periods

Can cause abdominal pain

Men may have discharge from the penis or pain passing urine
