Disability & Sexuality Training
Overview:
The IFPA is pleased to announce a new sexual health training course for support workers who work with people with physical and intellectual disabilities.
This training programme focuses on issues for people with disabilities in relation to their sexuality and sexual and reproductive health. Course resources are specifically tailored for people with extra support needs. The course pays attention the emotional as well as the physical aspects of sexuality.
This course will take place on February 22 and 23, 2011.

- Contraception
- STIs
- Unplanned Pregnancy
- Healthy Relationships
- Healthy feelings
- Sexuality and Rights
- Legislation and capacity to consent
Course Cost:
€210 , this includes two-day training, lunch, IFPA's Sex Education Teaching Kit and other training resources including Talking Together About Contraception (book), Talking Together about Growing Up (workbook), Talking Together About Sex and Relationships (book) and All About Us (interactive DVD.
